After completing a Bachelor of Nursing qualification at Central Queensland University in 2007, I began my nursing career through a Graduate Nurse Program in the Northern Territory based at Katherine District Hospital. In 2017, I attained a Graduate Diploma in Teaching and Learning to become a nurse educator, seeking to inspire others with my passion for the field of nursing. For the past three years, I've had the privilege of teaching at Central Queensland University while concurrently working towards my Masters in Educational Neuroscience.
I feel very fortunate in my nursing career to have worked in diverse settings across Queensland and the Northern Territory. My experience includes General Nursing, Paediatrics, Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health, School Nursing and Nursing Education.
Driven by a desire to help and care for others, I consider it a privilege to support and encourage you in your endeavour to become a competent Registered Nurse.
