Ellie Cutmore is a Lecturer and Assistant Head of Course - Bachelor of Nursing within the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences at CQUniversity. She is a Registered Nurse and has worked in a variety of acute medical and surgical wards in hospitals across southeast Queensland. Ellie also has extensive experience as a Clinical Facilitator and holds a keen interest in nursing education, clinical facilitation and assessment.
Ellie has completed studies in a Bachelor of Nursing, Postgraduate Certificate in Nursing Science (Clinical Teaching), and Master of Health Science (research) under the supervision of Professor Amanda Henderson and Dr. Pammie Ellem. Her research investigated whether an intervention designed to assist clinical facilitators (CFs) build mentorship capacity of care staff in residential aged care facilities could positively impact student perceptions of working with older adults, and their perceptions of the aged care clinical learning environment.
