Colleen Johnston-Devin is a hospital-trained registered nurse who completed a Certificate of Advanced Paediatric Nursing before completing a Bachelor of Nursing. She has extensive clinical and research experience encompassing varied settings within Universities, Hospitals, Aged Care Facilities, and the community across metropolitan, regional and rural Australia. Therefore, Collen has a great depth of experience and networks to inform her teaching to ensure clinical relevancy and currency of information. Colleens' research profile includes persistent pain, scholarship, chronic condition self-management, ageing, lived experience, person-centred care and research methods. My peer-reviewed publications, book chapter/s and international conference presentations focus on chronic pain, gerontology, and models of care in the Emergency Department. Her PhD topic was Battling Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS): A Phenomenological Study.
