Colleen Johnston-Devin is a hospital trained registered nurse who completed a Certificate of Advanced Paediatric Nursing before completing a Bachelor of Nursing. Her PhD topic was Battling Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS): A Phenomenological Study. Colleen has many years of experience coordinating Clinical Trials, mainly for investigational new drugs. She has worked in hospitals and/or community settings all over Australia including cities, regional and rural areas. Prior to working in the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences at CQU, Colleen worked at University of the Sunshine Coast as a Senior Research Officer and tutor for nursing students. Colleen s' research interests include lived experience studies, chronic health conditions, ageing, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS) and persistent pain.
