Anetta is an experienced research officer and project manager, working in physical activity research program delivery and evaluation at CQUniversity since 2004. Anetta values working within a team who strive to bring together research, evaluation and the latest evidence with real world program application to innovate and achieve impactful outcomes. Anetta believes in partnering with external partners, industry, programs and communities to deliver the programs she works on and is a relentless advocate for improving systems and environments that support people to be active in everyday.
After completing a Bachelor of Human Movement Science at CQUniversity in 2003, Anetta began working in the Centre for Social Science Research on the 10,000 Steps project. During 2005, she completed her Honours project on "Applying Usability Testing to a Health Promotion Website". Anetta has continued to work as Project Manager within the Institute of Health and Social Science Research and the Centre for Physical Activity Studies, assisting with grant applications, data management and working on a variety of physical activity and health research projects, including 10,000 Steps, and the Walk 2.0 project.
