I began my career as a Sonology Registrar in the largest and oldest teaching hospital in Shanghai (China) in 1999. I've worked in both public and private sectors in Sydney since migrating to Australia in 2001. During the last 20 years, I have gained extensive experience in acute medicine, abdominal, breast, musculoskeletal and paediatric ultrasound. I have been involved in sonographer education, training and management at my various workplaces. I have also been a member of the SoundEfffect / Sonography editorial committee of Australasian Sonographers Association for eight years until 2017. My special interests are in sonography education, quality improvement and sonographer led research.
