Sandy is an Aboriginal Public Health Researcher with Masters (ANU) and PhD (Uni SA) qualifications in epidemiology. She was born on Mandandanji country, and her Indigenous ancestry follows her father’s family line. Sandy has a professional background in nursing and midwifery. Her quantitative and qualitative research and evaluation skills are built on a foundation of providing clinical care and health promotion in Aboriginal communities in Queensland, the Northern Territory and Victoria.
