Prior studies and legal practice experience

Victoria completed her undergraduate studies at Monash University in Melbourne and was admitted to practice in 1995. Since then she has worked in Melbourne, London, Canberra and Italy. She was called to the Victorian Bar in 2002.

Passion for teaching and being a 'real world' lawyer

Victoria has a passion for teaching and seeing her students develop in their knowledge and practical application of the law. Learning the law can be a wondrous journey, but it can also be drudgery as one wades through the materials that one needs to get on top of the course requirements. Victoria believes both experiences can be nothing short of magical when one sees the fruit of this study at play in the real world of lawyering.

The law is a shield but it is also a sword. It is learning when to use these skills that makes a great lawyer.

Research Publications

Victoria also enjoys writing and researching in the law. Her main area is employment law in which she also practices. You can view her research under the publications tab and on google scholar. https://scholar.google.com.au/citations?user=nv6r1VkAAAAJ&hl=en&authuser=1.
