Award-winning former ABC radio broadcaster, journalist and political strategist, Christopher Lawson, is back with CQUniversity’s education and arts team.

Christopher is an Associate Lecturer in the journalism – filling in Lincoln Bertoli during term 2, 2022.

Christopher is a former newspaper journalist, radio and current affairs broadcaster, newsreader, communications strategist, political media advisor and professional communications consultant.

He was a former ABC Regional Program Director in Perth, and has worked in various media, communication and advisory roles at Parliament House (Canberra) and with the Western Australian State Government. He is currently a principal private consultant in the corporate communications sector.

Christopher's public relations work has appeared on the front page of The Australian newspaper and on national television. He was published in the Sydney Morning Herald and Sunday Mail and has won various national radio awards as an ABC broadcaster.
- Previously, as a national trainer with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Christopher has coached many young broadcasters who are now household names in the media industry.
- He has previously assisted CQUniversity in teaching public relations, communication and the political process, and in assessing student assignments in the field of professional communication.
- Christopher is a former student of CQUniversity, Charles Sturt University and the University of Southern Queensland.
