My portfolio incorporates oversight of a strategic, successful and mutually beneficial alumni and friends engagement program to enhance loyalty and support through volunteering, advisory and philanthropy.
Additionally, I'm responsible for the strategic development and oversight of operational matters of the technical assets and work processes associated with fundraising and engagement activities, including CRM functionality, for the Advancement Directorate.
Activities for and with alumni include:
- Publication of the bi-monthly alumni e-newsletter – The Mortar Board E-News
- Managing a database of alumni interested in supporting University activities, including people interested in assisting with research, mentoring and Work Integrated Learning opportunities, advisory committee membership, marketing and student recruitment, and fundraising.
- Communicating to alumni on behalf of the University
- Supporting all areas of the University to utilise the alumni asset
Anthea Cuddihy was Alumni Relations Manager at CQUniversity from 2011 until 2019, when she moved into the Deputy Director role. She is based at the Rockhampton campus, leading a high-performing small team to create and deliver a communications and relationship development program to a diverse cohort of over 110 000 graduates and donor stakeholders around the world.
The Alumni Relations program focuses on involving CQUniversity alumni in the University's broad engagement agenda to advance our reputation, student experience, and teaching activities.
Anthea worked in Stakeholder Management and Event Coordination in the non-profit and local government sectors prior to moving into the Alumni Relations field. She is a proud alumnus of CQUniversity.
