Prior to starting at CQUniversity in 2002 as a Lecturer, my working background was in ICT in industry in roles or activities such as Network Administration, IT procurement, Customer service IT desk.  I did not have any kind of academic background before then, except as a student, when I obtained a Masters degree (coursework) in Information Systems from CQU.   In 2012, I completed another Masters degree, this time by research, at CQU.

My main areas of teaching at CQUniversity have been in Information Systems management, Information Technologies, E-commerce, and Ethics and Social Issues.

Professional Experience

Early career:  Insurance industry, in Underwriting and later in Re-insurance, at Commercial Union of Melbourne.  Still later, as a Cobol Programmer in the Company's IT department.
