Dr Adel is a Sessional Lecturer in Accounting at the Central Queensland University. He received his PhD in Accounting from Deakin University- Australia. He has been teaching different accounting subjects including Accounting in Australia, Financial Accounting, Foundations of Management Accounting, Accounting for Management Decision Making, Accounting Systems and Information Assurance, Research in Business and Professional Projects. His research interests include Accounting Information Systems, Corporate Governance, IT Governance and Management Accounting. He has published in a high quality journal including Journal of Information Systems (ABDC: A).
